Step one is all about dreaming. It's a time to figure out what it is you want to do in your life. You get it all on paper but it doesn't stop there. You have another step to take. A step that we can't overlook. It's the place where we stop talking about our dream and start taking action.
Time for Step 2
Believing that you can accomplish great things in your life is a first step. The second step is going out and actually doing it. It’s not always easy to stay focused and sometimes your expectation can be like a bad back ache. There is an eagerness for the pain to go away. You want to look up and see yourself successful. Sometimes things can be difficult but in the end it’s worth it. Work isn’t easy, that’s why it’s work. But if you keep at it, you’ll see the fruit or progress from it soon enough.
We can’t just talk about our dreams we have to go after our dreams. Proverbs 14:23 says “In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty (NKJV).” It’s not enough for us to just have a dream and talk about all the things our dream involves. We have to make steps towards it. By making steps and working hard, we will see profit. Things will start to happen. If we only talk our dream, it will never see the light of day. Very seldom do people make great feats by sitting around chit-chatting. Most successful people work hard. Once you discover your God-given purpose, it’s up to you to do something with it.
Don’t waste time in meaningless talk. Get out there, make the most of your day, and do something that works toward your dream. Make things happen to see your dream become a reality. Your commitment to your dream will determine how far you will go.
